Migraine

Migraine

Migraine is the most common neurological condition in the developed world and affects 15 per cent of the UK population.

Attacks can be disabling with common symptoms including a throbbing headache, sensitivity to light and sound (photophobia), nausea, vomiting and lethargy. There is no cure for migraine although research is being conducted into preventative treatments.

We have been talking to Migraine Action for some months and are delighted that our discussions have resulted in such a positive outcome. Both organisations believe that we can improve our members/patients' care, treatment and health, and at the end of the day that is what really matters to us all"

Michael Fort, Synexus' Chief Executive said "As a clinical research company, our goals (patient care, improvements in medication and treatment, plus forward-thinking research) show a cohesive synergy with those of Migraine Action, which we feel makes this relationship an ideal link for both organisations.
