Help with Diabetes Research
Patients with diabetes have an increased risk of heart disease compared with those without. Our GP practice is currently helping your local Synexus Clinical Research Centre to identify patients for a clinical study (called EMERGE-8) looking at the effect of a new medication on heart disease in people with diabetes.
This study may be suitable for you if you:
- Are 18 years of age or more,
- are diagnosed with type II diabetes,
- and have previously had a heart related condition.
