If you have diabetes you're up to 5 times more likely to experience heart disease
And 5 times more at risk from heart attack or stroke.
But there may be a way to improve the odds for you and others like you.
We are assessing a currently licensed medication that may reduce the risk of heart related problems in diabetics. This is in addition to existing medication and will not require any changes to your current treatment.
This study may be suitable for you if you:
- Are 50 years old or over
- Have a history of Type II Diabetes and heart related problems
